Vinicius Oliveira Batista

Vinicius Oliveira Batista started his dance studies at Ballare Studio de Dança, located in southern Bahia, Brazil. He began with Classical Ballet, Jazz Dance, and rhythmic and artistic gymnastics. Throughout his journey, he competed in various dance festivals, earning numerous medals in groups, duos, trios, and quartets. With extensive experience in dance ensembles, he particularly enjoys duets. In these competitive festivals, he has earned titles such as Best Dancer and Outstanding Dancer, leading to scholarships for nationally and internationally recognized courses like the Miami City Ballet's Summer program. In 2022, he auditioned online and was selected among 20 individuals worldwide to join the Human Bodies contemporary dance study program in Italy. In 2023, he was chosen to be part of the professional contemporary dance program, Lamondance in Vancouver. Also, in 2023, he directed and choreographed his debut show, "OCITOCINA," using the proceeds from the ticket sales to fund his trip to Canada.
