About LAMONDANCE & FRIENDS
IT ALL STARTS WHEN WE BRING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER!
Vancouver is well known for its cultural diversity, especially when we talk about dance. The Vancouver dance community is a multi faceted community, comprised of many layers and styles. The city attracts dancers of different styles to groups and dance companies but they all have one thing in common: the passion for the art of Dance.
When we originally decided to create Lamondance and Friends - it wasn’t only to create a show to support our scholarship and bursary program or to help with the production of our other shows - it was to find a way to bring the dance community together with no competition or judgement. Simply, we wanted to present a dance filled showcase of passion, love, creativity.
At Lamondance we believe in the power of Sharing, we are all different, and because of that, we complement each other.
We are happy and excited to have our VI edition of Lamondance and Friends on February 24th, 2018 at Capilano University.

Parking information
There are two parking meters located inside the Birch Building (the building that houses the theatre). The only exception to this is if you are parking in the Short Term Lot (#7) where there is an outside meter specific to that location. Please note there is no flat rate in the short term lot unless you are parking in the accessible parking spots with a designated SPARC permit.
Before proceeding to the theatre you will need to note your license plate number. The flat rate for evening (after 5pm) and weekends/stats is $4.75*
To save time and for your convenience we highly recommend pre-paying your parking using the Pay by Phone option. The lot number for Parking Lot #1, the main theatre parking lot, is 5783.
The Theatre also offer pre-paid parking passes that you may purchase when making your ticket order. This is a great alternative to paying at the meters. If it is more than ten days until your event simply add a parking pass to your order and it will be mailed with your tickets. If there is not time to mail your tickets or you prefer to pick up your tickets at the performance, your parking pass can be held alongside your tickets at Will Call but will require you to return to your car to place your pass.
